Referring to HDR photos, it has always been the practice to take a number of different exposure photos, computer software to do overlapping synthesis, so that a photo of the high light and low light level also appear at the same time, make a special visual effect.
But how can we make HDR photos if there are no more exposures? In fact, as long as you have to save raw files when shooting, everything can come true! Now let me share how to use a raw file to simulate the production of HDR photos!
First look at the effect:
The following demo uses software to Nikon NEF files for photoshop cs6,raw files (Photoshop CS6 can also open most of the camera's raw files).
Step one: Open Raw file
It is advisable to find a light difference in the phase of practice, such as the prospect of this picture has almost become a silhouette. In Photoshop CS6 Open the Nef file (Nikon Raw file), you will see the following screen.
Step Two: Adjust the value
This step is mainly to balance the dark and light position, the exposure of the place and the exposed to save. It also increases contrast and saturation, making the photo more "sci-fi."
The data is adjusted as follows (can be added and reduced as per individual preference):
Hightlight Light-100
Shadow Shadow +100
Contrast contrast +70
Clarity sharpness +40
Vibrance Natural saturation of +50
You've seen a significant difference after you've adjusted the value.
"highlight" is for the photo in the light of the place to make adjustments, lighten the department can appear to be exposed to the place to teach back, and "shadow shadow" only to the place of exposure, is very useful tool.
"clarity sharpness" can make the photo sharper, while the "vibrance natural saturation" can enhance the color of the photo, but avoid affecting the skin, so it is more natural and easy to use.
Step three: Go to the details page and tune the Sharpening and noise reduction:
Sharpening
-Amount 20
-Radius 1
-Detail 75
-Masking 0
Noise reduction
-Luminance 40
-Luminance Detail 70
-Color 25
Step four: Strengthen the sky contrast, we can use graduated filter in the sky to pull down an area, and then fill in the data:
Contrast +100
Highlight-100
When you are finished, you can press "open" to open the photo.
Step five: Next to further enhance the sky and the dark bit contrast to increase the impact, so will use Photoshop "deepen burn tool" and "Dodge tool" tool.
First deepen the sky, press Burn tool then right click on the brush size and style, and then in the sky position smear, please repeat practice, make smear position appears natural.
Then use the Dodge Tool, adjust the brush after the dark position, which will make the dark bit bright.
Step Six: Open the filter > Lens correction plus Pointe-noire (under the custom Pull vignette), a copy of HDR-like photos are born!
Postscript
This article is a very simple post technology, mainly used to make imitation hdr or to save the exposure of the photos, if you want to "heavy taste" effect, you have to work hard to study Photoshop or Lightroom skills to repair the map!
