In Word 2003 you can use the translation function to complete some less complex translation tasks, as long as you choose "Translation" from the right-click menu to translate the current word or sentence into Chinese. However, this feature has been further developed in Word 2007, as long as you hover your mouse over the English content to display the translated content as shown in the picture. This is because both Word 2007 and Outlook 2007 provide a translation ScreenTip, and when the mouse hovers over the text, the on-screen prompts display the translated content.

Of course, the use of this feature is conditional, in the default settings you will find still only through the right menu to complete the translation task, this is how it? Actually, this is because the function of translating the ScreenTip is automatically turned off in the default settings. The method enabled is in Page view of the document (no settings are required here, because the default is Page view mode), right-click, and from the "Translate" submenu of the shortcut menu you can see that this is set to " Turn off the translation screen prompt, but you will find it impossible to cancel this setting directly. The correct way is to choose "Chinese", and then you can achieve the meaning of the translation function, like the installation of Kingsoft. If the system configuration is still in the mainstream, enabling this very practical feature does not degrade the performance of the system.

Tip: Outlook 2007 also does not automatically enable the translation function, you must be in the Mail pane through the right menu to set up, such as the need to translate English into Chinese, choose "translation → Chinese (China)" on it.
