The three-dimensional word in the tutorial has two layers, one is the original text, one layer is the stroke layer. When making the overall rendering of the three-dimensional surface, and then modify some of the parameters to make two-layer three-dimensional surface, the later rendering color, add texture and adjust the good perspective can be.
Final effect
1, create a new document (not recommended particularly large), and fill the background with black.
2, in the creation of text color white, using font material font, font size based on the canvas, the word spacing is a little larger.
3, determine good text, select the text layer right key to the shape, the text layer into a shape layer.
4, copy the text shape layer, with the direct Selection Tool options bar shape settings. Change to no fill, stroke color gray, stroke size 10, align to outside.
5. Select each text shape layer, and then perform 3d-to create a 3D graphic from the selected path and convert the shape layer to a 3D layer.
6, copy the background layer and drag to all layers, and then execute 3d-new grid layer from layer-postcard.
7. Select all your 3D layers (click one at the top, hold down SHIFT, and then click one at the bottom) to perform the 3d-merge 3D layer. Put all 3D layers in one scene.
8, open the 3D panel and the property panel, (found under the Window menu). In the 3D panel select the text shape grid name tag (select one then Ctrl/cmd + select Other), change the extrusion depth value in the property panel value to customize.
9. Click on the top cover icon in the property panel and change the diagonal width 3 and contour.
10, in the 3D panel select all components in the property panel to click on the coordinates icon, change the x rotation angle of 90 degrees, perpendicular to the ground plane. (For viewing convenience I change the background color to gray).
11, Open 3D Ground view (view-show -3d ground) in the 3D panel select Camera tag to adjust to the appropriate perspective.
12. Select the text layer label to modify the y axis coordinates in the coordinate attribute.
13, first in the 3D grid panel to select all the text material label components in addition to protruding material, (ctrl/cmd + click the tab selection). Then, in the Properties panel, click the Diffuse texture icon and choose to remove the texture.
14, create a shiny gold material. Change the diffuse color #bea221, mirror #bbb08c, Shine 55%, reflect 35%, refract to 1.35.
15, the creation of glass materials. Select the inside of the text to extrude the material label, remove the diffuse texture, and then change the diffuse color #6c1e98, mirror #e3e1d7, ambient #4d1972, shiny 75%, reflection to 25%, transparency 30%, refraction to 1.1.
16, select the outside of the text protruding material labels, remove diffuse texture, and then change the diffuse color #4b2262, mirror #a7a188, shiny 75%, reflection 25%, refraction to 1.3.
17, click the Bump folder icon and select New texture. Create a document as shown in figure.
18. Click the Bump folder icon again and select Edit texture, copy texture background layer.
19. Double-click the background copy to use the pattern in the material to give the pattern overlay effect.
20, create brightness/Contrast adjustment layer, change brightness of 1 contrast-50.
21, and then create a color level adjustment layer to change the shadow value to 7, high light 210.
