Using Diskgenius to recover the partition method after the false ghost

Scenario Description: Using Ghost image to install the system, the lost partition is restored to a large partition.

First of all, it is best not to have any write disk action.

Second, refer to the following description:

When using ghost software to recover a system, the entire disk is sometimes mistakenly restored to a large partition due to operational errors. At this point, the hard disk on the other than the new recovery of a size of the entire hard disk size (c-drive), other partitions are missing. In this case, you also use the method of searching for lost partitions. The difference is that the partitioning table is logically intact and error-free. Therefore, when searching automatically, Diskgenius will automatically retain the large C drive it finds, and other disks cannot be found. So be sure to use "Advanced mode" when searching for partitions. It is up to the user to decide which partition you want to restore. The option settings for the search are the same as those described in the previous 1th.

Note that after starting the search, Diskgenius will immediately report the discovery of a large C-disk after a false recovery, do not select "Hold", if you select "Hold" is the same as automatic, unable to find other partitions to recover. You should choose "Ignore" (or "skip") until you find the other partition you want to recover, and select "Hold" only if the files in the partition are correct.

Once the search is complete and the D, E, and other partitions that need to be recovered are found, one thing to keep in mind when you need to save the partitioned table. If you are running Diskgenius in a new Windows system after using a false recovery, saving the partitioned table may immediately cause a system blue screen crash, or other abnormal condition. This is normal, because after saving the partition table, the new partition table already does not have the operating system in use of the C drive, that is, save the partition table This action destroys the running system. Since our aim is to restore data from other disks outside of C, the current C-disk affects other disks, so there is no way to keep it. After the system is destroyed, you must reinstall the operating system, do not attempt to reboot, directly reinstall the system.

The recovery success rate after false ghost is related to the file system type of C drive. If the C drive is in FAT32 format, the recovery rate of the other disks is very high, because FAT32 is used in order from beginning to end, generally does not destroy the data of other disks. If the C drive is in NTFS format and the C drive is mistakenly restored to the entire hard drive, the situation is more complicated. Because the use of NTFS partitions is not fixed in order from beginning to end, it is possible to break data from other disks.
