It is often necessary to investigate the variation of pressure with temperature in chemical synthesis experiments. In two different reactors, the data of temperature and pressure were obtained under the same conditions in one experiment, and the relation between them and temperature was analyzed, and the reliability of the reaction under the same condition in different reactors was given.

Correlation coefficient is an index that describes the degree of dispersion between two measured variables. Used to determine whether the changes in the two measurement variables are correlated, that is, whether the larger value of one variable is associated with the larger value of another variable (positive correlation), or whether the smaller value of one variable is associated with the larger value of another variable (negative correlation), or the values in two variables are unrelated (the correlation coefficient is approximately 0). Set (X,y) to two-yuan random variable, then:

is the correlation coefficient of the random variable x and Y. P is a numerical characteristic that measures the close degree of linear correlation between x and y of random variables.

Note: This feature requires Excel extensions, and if your Excel does not have data analysis installed, select Tools-add-ins to load the analysis database on the installation CD. After successful loading, you can see the data analysis option in the Tools Drop-down menu.
