SECURECRT is an SSH-enabled terminal emulator that allows you to log in to the *nux server host software under Windows.
1. Environment
Host: Window 64bits
Virtual machine: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Vmware:vmware Workstation Pro
securecrt:7.1
2. Test the connectivity between host and virtual machine
3. Set up SSH service. SECURECRT and Ubuntu connections require SSH service support, but many Linux systems do not have SSH services installed and need to be installed manually.
1: Install SSH service->>sudo apt-get install Openssh-server
2: Start SSH service->> sudo/etc/init.d/ssh start
3: Verify that the service is starting->>ssh-v
4. Connect Ubuntu via SECURECRT.
Note: If the Chinese language is garbled, you can set the charset to UTF-8 or other Chinese character sets in session option.
