The format Brush tool in Word2010 can copy formatting from specific text to other text, and when users need to repeat the same formatting for different text, you can use the Format Brush tool to increase your productivity, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and select the text block that is already formatted. Double-click the Format Painter button in the Clipboard group in the Start Ribbon, as shown in Figure 2010092911.

Tip: If you click the Format Painter button, the text format of the format brush record can only be copied once, which is not conducive to multiple copies of the same format.
Step 2nd, move the mouse pointer to the Word document text area, and the mouse pointer changes to a brush shape. Press and hold the left mouse button to select the text that you want to format, the text that is being brushed will be applied to the copied format. Release the left mouse button and drag the other text again to achieve multiple copies of the same format, as shown in Figure 2010092912.

Step 3rd, after you finish copying the format, click the Format Painter button again to close the Format Painter.
