In everyday teaching, there are many documents that need to be kept confidential or prevented from being censored, such as paper, handouts, etc. According to different requirements, we use the two simple functions of WPS text to facilitate and quickly realize information security.
First, encrypt the document
Click the file encryption option on the File menu bar, and the shortcut key is alt+f and Y. As shown in Figure 1-1

When the password is set up again to open the document that appears the following interface, the correct input password can enter, thus playing a role in protecting the security of document information. It is recommended that documents such as exam papers be encrypted.

Second, read-only settings for the document
Some documents require frequent use of inconvenient encryption, but you can choose to read-only to prevent others from being deleted or copied.
To open the Protect Document option on the Tools menu bar, the shortcut key is Ait+t and p. The interface is shown in Figure 2-1, so if you want to cancel, select "Unprotect" in the Tools menu bar, as shown in Figure 2-2.
