Main commands
Armcfg
Usage: Manages Luns (-l), physical disks, and control cards in the linked array, including creating and deleting Luns.
Syntax: armcfg {-L <Lun> |-A <capacity> |-d |-G <group >}< array-ID>
Note:
-L <Lun> specifies the Lun number
-A <capacity> establishes the Lun capacity. If <capacity> is followed by G, the Lun capacity is measured in G. If followed by m, the Lun capacity is measured in M. If followed by K, the Lun capacity is measured in K, the default value is M;
-D. Delete the Lun.
-G indicates the Lun group. In va7100, This value must be 1. In va7400, this value is 1 or 2. Example:
Create a Luns with a Lun number of 10 MB.
Armcfg-l 0-a 10 m-G 1 Array
Delete lun0 from Array
Armcfg-l 0-D array
Armdiscover
Purpose: Discover all arrays of local and remote hosts and display the information on the screen.
Syntax: armdiscover [-S] [-V] [-N] [-F] [hostname]
Note:
-F resets the waiting queue.
-N skips opendial detection.
-V displays the details of each detected device.
-S only displays the detected devices. You can also use armdiscover-I instead.
Example:
Armdiscover-varmdsp
Purpose: display the status and settings of the array, including logical configuration, physical configuration, and current status.
Syntax: armdsp [-A] [-C <frnlocation>] [-I] <array-ID>
Note:
None displays common information, including product information, array status, and space used
-A displays all array information.
-L <Lun> displays information about the specified Lun.
Example:
Armdsp-aarmfmt
Purpose: format the disk in the array.
Syntax: armfmt [-F] [-H] <array-ID>
Note:
-F [-H]: format all disks in the array. If only-F is known, it is used to format all disks included in the array, but if-H is added, not only is the disk included in the array formatted, but also the disk not included in the array. Example:
Armfmt-f-h arrayarmmgr
Purpose: To adjust parameters of a disk array.
