I haven't updated my blog for a long time. I can't think of the first article as moss technical experience or as a surprise after winning the Microsoft MVP award. (Of course, I am very surprised, but does not use text records), but some thoughts on UPS practices after arriving in China:
After winning the MVP award from Microsoft, I was delighted to go to the store of Microsoft's employees to purchase a shopping coupon worth $150 and enjoy the free express delivery service, even though I chose FedEx, however, the actual final express delivery business is provided by UPS (for specific reasons, we have to ask Microsoft). The first purchased package was received from July 6 to around July 11, during which I tracked it, UPS has arrived in Beijing on the third day since receiving the information and picking the goods at home. I admire the efficiency of foreign companies. After all, the United States and us are in different hemisphere, the next thing is funny. It takes four days from the delivery of goods to Beijing to the delivery of our hands. Is the distance from Beijing to Luoyang far from Microsoft's headquarters to Beijing?
The second purchase was similar. On the third day, the goods arrived in Beijing -- noon on the 11th, but I didn't receive a call on the 12th. I called in the afternoon and asked if I could deliver the goods on Monday because I didn't go to work on weekends! I'm dizzy! International express delivery companies will not deliver parcels on weekends when they arrive in China! This is also called a courier company! I can't figure it out. It's also ups. I ordered the goods on Friday and arrived in Beijing on Monday. Do Americans not know about weekend breaks? I don't know the FedEx's one-day commitment in Asia. What do ups China think? I don't know if I have a chance to try the FedEx service!
