NSArray and NSDictionary can only store objects, but cannot directly store any basic types of data, such as int, float, or struct. But you can use objects to encapsulate basic values. For example, encapsulate the int type into an object, and then put the object into NSArray or NSDictionary.

 

Generally, a basic type of data is packaged into an object called packing. Extracting basic types of data from an object is called unboxing. Some languages have the automatic packing function, which can automatically package basic data or extract basic data from the encapsulated objects. Object-C language does not support automatic packing.
