Ubound Function

Returns the maximum available subscript of the specified array dimension.

Ubound (Arrayname [, dimension])

Parameters

Arrayname

Required. The array variable name follows the naming conventions of standard variables.

Dimension

Optional. Specifies the integer of the one-dimensional Upper Bound to be returned. 1 indicates the first dimension, 2 indicates the second dimension, and so on. If omittedDimensionParameter, the default value is 1.

Description

UboundFunctions andLboundThe function is used together to determine the size of the array. UseLboundThe function can determine the lower bound of a single dimension of the array.

The lower bound of all dimensions is 0. For arrays with such dimensions,UboundThe function returns the following results:
