VFS: unable to mount the root fs on (0, 0) Solution
This error is reported when the centos system of our servers is powered on after the power failure in the IDC.
LFS kernel panic-not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on Unknown-block (0, 0 );
I tried several methods to solve the problem most effectively at the beginning.
The solution is as follows:
Find the boot disk where centos is installed. You can use a USB flash disk or a CD disk to boot the boot disk.
Select "install or upgrade existing installation ";
Select a language;
Select new boot;
Select the position of the system, that is, the boot disk (there is an sda and sdb, what is not repeated is your boot disk, do not select the wrong );
If you select a boot drive, you must change it to your hard disk instead of the boot drive;
Reboot your system;
Restart;
Okay. Solve the problem. You can start the instance.
