View tables and records in a work database

Source: Internet
Author: User

You can use sp_msforeachtable to conveniently view the total number of tables and the number of recorded statements in the working database.

1 create table # temp (tablename varchar (255), rowcnt INT) 2 exec sp_msforeachtable 'insert into # temp select ''? '', Count (*) from? '3 select tablename, rowcnt from # temp order by rowcnt desc4 drop table # temp

Of course, you can also use a cursor or cyclically traverse the system table sysobjects where xtype = 'U', but it is troublesome to write your own data.
