1. Use the * Key to search for words at the cursor position. Otherwise, you can use the # key to search for words at the cursor position forward. After you use * or # For the first search, you can use N or shift-N to continue the search.In addition, if you set the hlsearch option (: Set hlsearch), you can use * shift-N to mark the current word as highlighted.

2. Set set hlsearch in your vimrc so that all the matching items you search will be highlighted, if you search for another nonexistent word, the previous highlight match is used to cancel the highlight, or you can use ": nohlsearch", but the latter needs to design set hlsearch in your vimrc file, in this way, you can still highlight it in other searches.
