1. Establish a location
(1) Unix
~/.vimrc
(2) Ms-windows
$HOME/_VIMRC
$VIM/_VIMRC
Note: ①.VIMRC is a point in front, indicating that the hidden files in Linux, you can directly open, if you need to see if you should use the LS-A command.
② represents the default directory for Windows$home, and $vim represents the installation directory for your VIM program. If you forget where you installed it, you can go to vim and then: Echo $VIM can view it.
③ If you already have VIMRC files in these directories, you can edit the file directly in Vim: Editor $VIMRC.
2.set Command
Set some system settings, so that each time you do not have to input, the equivalent of VIMRC each time you start to set up.
3.map Command
Map is the meaning of mapping, you can map a series of complex operations to a simple key, or the system default shortcut keys do not adapt to this can be modified.
4.plugin
is to load plug-ins, just download and put in the corresponding directory.
