Configure the network when you build VMware virtual machines
You can see that there are 3 main types
1. Bridging mode (bridge)
The IP of the virtual system can be set to the same network segment as the native system, and the virtual system is equivalent to one within the network. Separate machines, which are plugged into a hub together with the machine.
For example, I use this machine is the network A6210 Wireless card, then the bridge mode, also used this network card, virtual machine equivalent to a separate computer, will also occupy the IP, such as my virtual machine is 192.168.1.104
Here to note is, I this is a USB wireless network card, so sometimes, open the virtual machine, USB directly connected to the virtual machine, and the host can not use
This is used to turn off the USB interface in the virtual machine and start the virtual machine's network adapter.
If an error is present, the Network Bridge on the device VMnet0 is not currently running. This virtual machine cannot communicate with other computers in the host or grid , click Virtual Network Editor
Restore default settings After opening or modify VMnet0 to "automatic bridging"
So basically it's done.
2:nat mode, see the above adapter options, there are two virtual network card, the mode is connected to the VMNET8 virtual network card
3:host-only Mode: This mode is connected to the VMNET1 virtual network card.
