In the first use, the only problem isVMware Tools.VMware ToolsIt is equivalent to a "driver" in a real state. A system running on a virtual machine also needs to install drivers for its "motherboard", "video card", and "Sound Card, otherwise, the installation can only run in a very low image quality without sound, which is depressing.

After installing the system, click "Virtual Machine (m)"> "Install VMware Tools (I)…" in the menu bar on the VMware interface )...", Then the installation program will pop up ........................

In fact, this does not work at all, and nothing will happen after the installation. The correct installation method is as follows: after installing the system, click "Virtual Machine (m)" → "set (s )..." → Click "cd rom" under the "hardware" tab → click "use ISO image (I)" in the right window → click "Browse (B )", the Select dialog box is displayed. If your VM is installed on drive C, click "C:/program files/vmware workstation" and you will see it in the dialog box, there are five compressed files in the "vmware workstation" folder named "FreeBSD", "Linux", "Netware", "Solaris", and "Windows ". These are the Virtual Machine drivers corresponding to these five operating systems. Here, we select windows, click the "open" button, return to the "Virtual Machine Settings" window, and then click "OK". Everything is OK! (In this case, the system automatically plays the video and starts to install the virtual driver. If the video is not automatically played in the virtual system, you can also manually install it: double-click the drive letter of the Virtual Machine and install it. If you have installed Windows 98 or used some ISO Image System CD files that have deleted older drivers, it is possible that the audio card driver cannot be installed, that is, it cannot be installed, there is no sound at all. I checked the audio control chip of the system in VMware. It virtualizes the innovative "creative (was: ensoniq) ees1371, ees1373 audiopci ". It looks complicated. You just need to go to the "Driver house" and search for "creative_ees1371". Just download the driver. Install it in the Virtual Machine System and find the sound card!

You can use the shared functions provided by the Virtual Machine: Virtual Machine (M) "→" set (s)… "for the connection between virtual machines and real hosts )..." → Click "shared folder" under the "options" tab → click "always enable (E)" in the right window → click "add (a)", and then follow the wizard, very simple. Of course, the best way is to build a LAN between the VM and the host. If your real host is not connected to the LAN, do not select the default "bridge" of the virtual machine in the network settings of the virtual machine, but select "Host-only: share a private network with the host ". I will not talk much about setting IP CIDR blocks. On your real host, right-click "Network neighbors" and you will find that there are not only "local connections", but also two virtual NICs: VMWare network adapter vmnet1 and VMWare network adapter vmnet8. You only need to set the IP address in the Virtual Machine System to the IP address of the VMware network adapter vmnet1 Nic In the same network segment.

(My real host situation is: the single machine is not connected to the Internet, there is no LAN, there is no Internet, there is nothing, it is a separate machine. I simply disabled all the local connections. My settings are in this environment. If your situation is different from mine, you can try again based on your actual situation!
