VirtualBox Open VMDK File

VirtualBox and VMware feel a lot different. For example, if you have VMware virtual hard disk files, VirtualBox has no way to import them directly. If you want to import a VMDK file, proceed as follows:

1) Open the Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager, click "New", under "New Virtual PC", enter the appropriate name (recommended with the VMDK file name, and remove the suffix), after "Next", the memory size select the appropriate size of memory, "next" after the virtual hard disk selection " Using the existing virtual hard disk file, click the folder icon on the right and select the imported VMDK file you want to import.
