Visit to Nanjing soft Expo

September 1 ~ On November 3, Nanjing National Exhibition Center held a large-scale national software expo. Speaking of this, stop it first. I don't know how many developers in Nanjing know that there is such an expo. How much else can they take a look at when they are free? It is not hard to imagine that in such a soft Expo, developers are just a few stars in the crowd; more, they just carry the "long gun and cannon" and look at some program that does not actually have anything to do with insiders, one on the left and one on the right. Otherwise, it would be a typical Chinese-style "head inspection". When a group of people are surrounded, the "heads" are directed to the booths of a large company, there must also be a smiling manufacturer's promoter who will "Dance and sound" in front of the head, whether or not the "head" understands, and finally come to a concluding speech, for example, "a company has made great contributions to China's software development. I hope you will take it to another level and lead China's software industry to the world." Then, of course, there was a burst of applause and many photos of reporters being "Murdered. However, the "parents" of these software, that is, our developers, have almost no chance to appear in this field, which of course is not normal. The taste and reason behind the scenes are reserved for you to taste. Next, let me talk about how I felt when I visited the soft Expo on the last day.

Today is the last day of the soft Expo. I entered the venue around 10 a.m.. At this time, there were quite a few people in the venue, large vendors such as Microsoft and Oracle naturally have a wide booth in their prominent positions. However, some software companies in Jiangsu, such as South China big Fujitsu and lianchuang technology, are well positioned. I have stayed in the booth of such companies for some time. I mainly want to see if there are any more creative products and learn the relevant profit and promotion models. After standing for a while, no one cares about me. I probably think that I am an inconspicuous student, and I don't need to talk about it at all. Is this true? On the dark side of the Exhibition Hall, the booths of many small companies are built with temporary partitions. In contrast to the gorgeous comparison between the booths of large companies, the exhibition hall is too simple and embarrassing. But the old saying goes well: "Thirty Years of Hedong, Thirty Years of Hexi ." Although people are not well-known today, maybe one day when the dragon goes down to the East China Sea, it will also go over the sea, microsoft is also shaking you up. (isn't Microsoft often "trembling" by Google in recent years ?). In contrast to the casual treatment of ordinary visitors by large companies, exhibitors in small companies are more enthusiastic. Although I don't look like a company, I am unlikely to buy their products, but I am very enthusiastic about the functions and advantages of their software. I have answered some of my questions. With this passionate and persistent belief, I believe that, although such an enterprise has a temporary bottleneck and dilemma, as long as it can seize only one opportunity, it is enough to turn around, because, they have been working hard ).

In fact, today's focus is on this. I plan to see if there are any Web2.0 companies that can get the classics. Unfortunately, it seems that the definition of "software" remains on the traditional applications and enterprise applications. I did not see it on the third day for Web application companies. Just as I was a little bored, when I was about to end my visit to the Suzhou Software Park, I saw the booth in my hometown. Naturally, I had a few more kinces, I do want to ask some questions, for example, the cost of opening a startup company in the Software Park. As a result, I chatted with a member of the China Merchants department for a while. During the conversation, I felt that the cost of an entrepreneurial small company in Suzhou Industrial Park was not high, but there were many favorable conditions, compared with the tight it air in Beijing and Shanghai, the southern town of Suzhou has a fresh air in the IT industry. (I advertised to my hometown.) I am still in the planning stage, so I cannot talk about it in depth. My biggest achievement is that, at the beginning of my business, one of the most important things is to work hard to find a good "angel", not a "Birdman" (although he also has wings ), haha.

At the exit, there was a row of booths with orange as the main tone. It was the location of the VC. I saw a group of Chinese visitors from a Dutch company, I tried very hard to introduce their company. It seems a little difficult. I can see that they are a little anxious. They want to make money, and they are impatient with China ", suddenly I think of Google, which is often ridiculed by a website.

When you leave, think about how much you get.
