The Code project Vista API Competition$10,000 in prizes to be won! Windows Vista has gone gold which means there is a whole new set of APIS for Devs to play with. In celebration of this event we are holding a competition for the best Vista articles posted on codeproject.com. There's a wealth of capabilities hidden in Vista's new APIs-and you have a chance not only to build some great apps that take advantage of those APIs-but also to show off your skills to your fellow developers. plus, you can win some great prizes! What you need to doSubmit a great Vista article and code sample (or app) to codeproject.com. your articles must focus on Vista-specific technology. this means the focus is more on the Vista API rather than on, say ,. net 3.0. to submit your article and automatically be entered in the contest, simply make sure that you're submitting your article in the Vista /. net 3.0 area. What You Can winmonthly winnerOur judges will take the top-ranked articles submitted during each month and choose one that they feel showcase the Vista APIs the best. All decisions are final. - The articles must focus on Vista-specific technology. This means the focus is more on the Vista API rather than on, say,. Net 3.0.
- The articles can be in C ++, C #, VB. NET or any. NET language.
- No cheating, lying, stealing code, or biting.
- The deadline for entries is midnight on the last day of each month.
- The judges demo-is final and no correspondance will be entered.
- Only those who live in jurisdictions in which this contest is legal may enter.
- Any breach of the rules and the prize will be award to the runner up.
- The contest will begin on December 1, 2006 and end on May 31,200 7, at 11:59:59 us Eastern Standard Time.
