VM installation and Red Hat Linux Installation

System Environment for installation: win7 32-bit 3G memory

I. Virtual Machine Installation

Software preparation: Download vmware_workstation_wmb.zip

Decompress the package and install it. After installation, open the interface as follows:

 

Select "create a virtual machine" to create a virtual machine without installing the system.

 

Ii. Red Hat Linux Installation

Software Download: three disks in total

 

Install the drive from a CD:

Click the newly created virtual machine, right-click and select Settings, find CD, find the software to be installed, turn on the power, and click the green button to automatically find the software installed on the disk, and install it as prompted.

 

 

Note: When loading this ISO file, remember to check "connected at power on" in the device status above, that is, automatically load the ISO file when the power is turned on, if not checked, the ISO file cannot be loaded after the power is turned on. The connected option indicates to connect to the VM and load it. However, the Linux system has not been installed yet. Therefore, select "connected at power on.
