VMWare 11 Install operating system-Beginner Series-Learner series articles

In 2010, I wrote a blog post on the installation of VMware's operating system. But today in QQ group someone asked about VMware installed operating system problems, although answered, but looked back at that blog post, decided to re-write a article.

The first step is to obtain the VMware Workstation. Here is the latest version of the 11 download, there is no registration machine, so this registration code is particularly important. 10 and 11 versions of the download are available in the catalog, and the 10 version has a keygen:

The process of installing VMware is not described, and the following begins the write installation process.

1. Open the menu and select "New Virtual Machine".

2. Select "Typical".

3. Select "Install operating system later".

4, select the operating system.

5. Change the virtual machine file save path.

6, set the size of the disk, here set 100G (virtual machine only when used to really occupy the disk space, so choose 100G is for the back if the virtual machine disk is not enough, your hard disk will need 100G of space).

7. Select the custom hardware.

8, set the amount of memory allocated to the virtual machine, which is set to 4G, the actual need for about 6G of memory (Win7 closed virtual memory).

9, set the number of CPUs. It's basically multicore now.

10, set the optical drive, if the CD-ROM boot, then use "Physical drive" can. If you already have an ISO file, select Add.

11. Click Finish. In the click to start the virtual machine. You can install the operating system.

Once the ISO file is placed in the disc, the installation is started by default from the CD-ROM for the first time. However, some people will not be able to boot from the optical drive if the operation is incorrect, then the following settings are required.

12, in the Start interface, point F2. Enter BIOS settings.

13. Set the boot media media. This uses the + number to set the optical drive to boot. That's all you can do.
