Prepare a template computer

Prepare a Windows XP or Windows 7 virtual machine, install the operating system, update the latest patch, and install the application software to configure the user environment. After everything is ready, make sure that your computer has Installed VMware Tools and started preparing the View's template computer. Now the model machine does not need to be added to the domain.

Step 1: Install the View Agent, double-click the View Agent installation package, accept the license agreement, and click "Next" to continue the installation.

Step 2: In the installation component, select all components except "PCoIP SmartCard". To modify the installation path of the View Agent, click "Change" in the lower right corner ".

Step 3: Select "Enable the…" in Remote Desktop Protocol Configuration ..." That is, users are allowed to connect to virtual desktops through the RDP protocol.

Step 4: click "Install" to start installation and complete the installation of View Agent.

Step 5: After the View Agent is installed, restart the computer.

Step 6: Enable bidirectional voice support for the PCoIP protocol and run "PCoIP Component Installer.exe ".

Click "Next" in the installation wizard ".

Select "Teradici Audio Driver" and click "Install" to Install the Virtual Sound Card.

After the installation is complete, Teradici allows you to modify the system sound card configuration.

Open Control Panel to go to Sound, and select Teradici Virtual Sound Card in audio and voice respectively ".

Step 7: set the system's TCP/IP to automatic acquisition, and enter "ipconfig/release" in "Start/Run" to disable the computer.

Step 8: log on to the vCenter Server and create a snapshot named "Winxp_viewAgent" on the prepared template computer ".
