VMware view troubleshooting: View client cannot connect to virtual desktop

Yesterday, a VMware view troubleshooting error was reported, as the view client could not connect to the virtual desktop.

The view version is 5.3, and the view Agent version is 5.3.

Step 1: log on to the management interface of the view connection server and find the corresponding virtual desktop. The status of the virtual desktop is incorrect. Click here to view details. The following error message is displayed: view composer agent initialization state error (-1): illegal state (waited 0 seconds ). Baidu and Bing have not found any related solutions. Similar problems have not occurred in the KB library on the VMware official website. You have to make your own mistakes.

Step 2: log on to the virtual machine of the virtual desktop through the vsphere client, restart the service of the Horizon view agent, and restart the virtual machine. The error still exists. Now, there seems to be no solution, so we have to find a virtual desktop that can be logged on normally. After logging on to it, we can check the service and compare the two virtual machines, the main difference is that the Startup type is automatic service (through services. MSC console view), find that the virtual desktop that cannot be logged on has a service missing, the service name is VMware view composer guest agent server, the normal virtual desktop has this service. The virtual desktop needs to load the service during the startup process. After the service is killed, the virtual desktop cannot communicate with the view connection server, so it will definitely not be able to log on.

After troubleshooting, we found that security guard was not installed on the virtual desktops that can be normally logged on, and  security guard was installed on the two virtual desktops that cannot be logged on. Therefore, the subsequent content is simple, uninstall the security guard, uninstall the VMware horizon view agent, and then install the VMware horizon view agent again. Log on to the management interface of view connection server, and check that the status of the error virtual desktop has changed to available.

Finally, we recommend that all customers who use VMware view do not install  security guard,  anti-virus, Baidu security guard, and other things on their virtual desktops, because these security vendors in China do not, these relatively new applications or programs in China are not included in trusted areas, this causes  security guard,  antivirus, and Baidu security guard to kill all programs they have never seen before. We recommend that you install Microsoft's MSE anti-virus software.
