Vsphere ESXi Installation

As the hypervisor layer of the virtualized environment, ESXi is responsible for virtualizing the server into a resource pool, providing an interface for management component calls, burning the following ISO into a CD-ROM or bootable USB flash drive, and installing it on the server bare metal:

Power on the array, select boot from installation media

Press F11 to continue

Enter password: rootroot, minimum password to 8 digits or letters, when using vsphere Client login ESXi server, account name is root, password is set above

Press F2 to enter the configuration interface

This is only configured to manage the network

No matter how many network cables are connected to the server, only one Management IP is configured here, as for the virtual machine traffic running on the server, the allocation of management traffic, it is assigned to the corresponding physical network card in Vcenter

Configuring IPV4 Addresses

Select Configure static IP address here

ip:192.168.2.32

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.2.254

The gateway is configured as a gateway to an existing network environment, otherwise it will not be able to manage remote connections

Configure DNS

Configure at least one primary DNS by DNS configuration of the existing environment

After the configuration is complete, exit the save, you need to complete the configuration on the server, then the whole operation can be remotely operated
