First, press the right mouse button on the server icon and select the "New virtual machine (N) ..." option in the Bounce list.

In the pop-up Create new Virtual machine window, select the Custom option in the configuration options, and then click the Next button.

Enter the name and location interface, fill in the name of the virtual machine you created, and note that the following prompts the name of each virtual machine is unique, and then click the Next button.

Go to the "Memory" interface, select the target storage location for the virtual machine files, and if there are multiple locations to choose from, then click Next.

Enter the "Virtual Machine version" interface, select the virtual machine version, generally choose the highest version, if there are special requirements or compatibility can choose another version, and then click the "Next" button.

Go to the client operating system interface, select client operating system and version, and here I create the XP system, and then click the "Next" button.

Enter the "CPU" interface, select the number of virtual slots and the number of kernels per virtual slot, the general default can be, if the host is strong enough, want to make the virtual machine run faster, you can configure according to the actual situation, and then click the "Next" button.

Enter the "Memory" interface, select the virtual machine memory, the recommendation is 2 of the number of n times, and then click the "Next" button.

Enter the "Network" interface, generally by default, and then click "Next" button.

Go to SCSI controller by default, and then click the Next button.

Go to the Create disk interface, set disk capacity and disk provisioning, and establish the Thin provision option because this option is to dynamically grow disk space, unlike after provisioning, which is fixed disk space when disk creation and then clicks the Next button.

Go to the "Advanced Options" interface, directly by default, and then click the "Next" button.

Go to the "after" interface, look at the new virtual machine settings, and then click the "Finish" button to complete the creation of the virtual machine configuration.

In the Vsphere Client main window, select the blank virtual machine that you just created in the right server, press the right mouse button, and tap Power (O)--> to turn on the Power (P).

Click the "Start Virtual Machine Console" icon on the toolbar to start the console.

In the Virtual Machine Console window, tap the CD/DVD drive icon, and then tap Connect to the ISO image on your local disk ..., and of course, on the data store there is also the option to "connect to the ISO image on the data store ...".

Select the ISO file in the pop-up window, where I install XP, so select the Windows XP image file.
