Steps:
To be safe, first clone a virtual machine to a copy.
Original size:
Plus 100G
Start the system and check the file system status after entering the system:
You can see that the newly added 100G space is in the unallocated column:
The system partition is followed by a partition, the expansion of the Welcome button is gray. It seems that only into the PE expansion.
Reboot with Linux system disk, enter Linux environment use tool DD to clone the C drive to the new 100G new partition, then use the Windows 2008 boot disk to go to the system repair interface to repair the BCD boot item with BOOTREC.
After restarting, the hard disk partition is as follows:
You can see that the C drive has reached the end, because DD just clone the file system, but the size has not changed so the file system interface is full:
