VMware is currently the most used virtual machine. When the full-screen mode of the virtual machine is turned on, the VM defaults to a toolbar at the top of the screen to facilitate our operation. But sometimes, we might want to be able to remove the toolbars that hover over the top of the screen when using VM VMs to completely simulate what the real system looks like.
How do I remove a VM's toolbar in full-screen mode? Take a look at the introduction below.
Tools/Materials
Method/Step
Open the VMware virtual machine and enter the system interface after booting.
Click on the VMware menu "View"-"full Screen" to enter full-screen mode.
In full-screen mode, if you want to automatically hide the toolbar at the top of the screen, click the Hide command bar icon to the left of the toolbar.
Note that hiding the command bar does not really make the toolbar disappear. The toolbar automatically appears when you move the mouse to the top of the screen. And when the mouse is removed, the toolbar is automatically hidden.
The effect after hiding. The toolbar appears automatically when you move the mouse over the top of the screen.
If you want to not be affected by the mouse, "permanently" remove the toolbar, you can use another method described below. The toolbar appears only after you press the shortcut key Ctrl+alt. Otherwise, the toolbar does not appear, regardless of where the mouse is moved.
In the full screen interface, click the down arrow next to Toolbar Workstation to expand the menu and choose View-exclusive mode.
A dialog box pops up asking if you want to enter exclusive mode and select "Enter Exclusive Mode".
When you move the mouse to the top of the screen again, the toolbar does not appear. Of course, if you want to exit the full screen after use, you can press the shortcut key Ctrl+alt to call out the toolbar, and then click on the toolbar to exit the full screen icon, re-switch back to normal mode.
