Installing Ubuntu 14 with virtual machine VMware 11, there is an error "This host supports Intel Vt-x, but Intel Vt-x is disabled", as shown in the following illustration.

Reboot the system, enter the BIOS, my system (thinkpade450c win8) is pressing the F1 key to enter the BIOS
Select the Safty tab, select Virtualization, and press ENTER to enter
Select Intel Virtualization Technology, select, press ENTER
Select Enable and press ENTER to change the status as shown in the following figure.
Save exit, reboot, as prompted below the interface. Mine is to press F10.
Once again into VMware, it can be installed normally.
