A. First, perform steps A, B, and C in the solution of using a USB flash disk on Vmware Server2.0.
B. If you want to identify that the USB key virtual machine is running, disable it first. If this step is not skipped.
C. use NotePad to open the. vmx file in the Virtual Machine installation directory.
D. Add USB. Generic. allowhid = "true" at the end of the file and save it.
E. Start the VM and insert the USB key.
F. Select the currently started Virtual Machine and click the USB symbol at the top of the VMware Server Web to hook the recognized USB key. :
In this way, the USB key can be used on the VM!
