VMware Virtual machine operations for external exposure of IP

Source: Internet
Author: User

The following describes the virtual machine network configuration in the bridge mode and NAT mode to resolve the operation of exposed IP, I hope to help you. One, bridging mode

1.> ifconfig (or ipaddr)

If inet is 127.0.0.1, there is no external exposure to the IP

2.> Modify Configuration

sudo vi/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ens33

Change the Onboot=no to Yes

3. Restart Network Services

> sudo service networkrestart

4. Confirm whether the modification was successful

> ifconfig (or IP addr)

If inet is 192.168.*.*, the modification succeeds

Second, Nat mode

1. Click the "edit"--> "virtual Network Editor" as shown below:

2. Change the VMNET8 network adapter

Check out the IP configuration here to see if the network segment here is the same as what you just configured. If it is not the same, the host cannot communicate with the virtual machine.

is now resolved
