The VNC connection is enabled for Guestos, and is to be edited for the Guestos machine that needs to be connected.

First of all to stop the machine, and then to edit the machine, open option,advanced,general,parameters click to enter.

Append parameters:

RemoteDisplay.vnc.enabled TRUE

RemoteDisplay.vnc.port 5901

RemoteDisplay.vnc.password to set the password for the connection

RemoteDisplay.vnc.keyMap JP (Japanese keyboard)

Then modify the firewall policy in the host's security, modify the VM serial port network connection, and edit the firewall license IP address range inside.

The method is tested under esxi5.0 5.5.

one thing needs to be explained. if ESXi is not running networked storage (such as iSCSI), there is no impact.

If running, once the firewall policy is turned on, then the license IP address must be added to the iSCSI server IP address, otherwise, although ESXi can be active access, but iSCSI needs two-way communication, instant detection of the machine is alive and well, will not receive the response information and is determined that the network storage dead and shutdown.
