Vroisis ISIS basic configuration tutorial, vroisis isis basic configuration
Lab content:
There are four routers in the network. The IS-IS configured to connect the network. R1 and R2 are L1 routers, Area10 IS a common area, and Area20 IS a backbone area.

Experiment Configuration:
[R1] isis 1
[R1-isis-1] is-level-1
[R1-isis-1] network-entity 10.20..0000.0001.00
[R1-isis-1] inter g0/0/0
[R1-GigabitEthernet0/0/0] isis enable 1
[R2] isis 2Create IS-IS process 2
[R2-isis-2] is-level-1Configure This router as the L1 router in IS-IS process 2
[R2-isis-2] network-entity 10.20..0000.0002.00 configure the name of the ISIS network entity
[R2-isis-2] inter g0/0/2
[R2-GigabitEthernet0/0/2] isis enable 2Enable the ISIS function on the IS-IS interface and associate it with the ISIS process 2. (One interface can only be associated with one ISIS process **)
[R3] isis 3
[R3-isis-3] is-level-1-2Set the vrol1 Level to L1/2 (that is, set to L1/2)

[R4-isis-4] inter g0/0/0
[R4-GigabitEthernet0/0/0] isis enable 4
Lab Verification:
Display isis lsdb: view IS-is lsdb information. Check whether the LSDB of R1 and R2 are synchronized (that is, whether the link status databases of R1 and R2 are consistent ).
