1. Open Developer command Prompt for VS (vs2017 Developer command prompt) as Administrator

2. Locate the installation directory for your vs2017

Example: C:\Program Files (x86) \microsoft Visual Studio\2017\enterprise\common7\ide\publicassemblies

First enter CD c: switch to C drive and then CD C:\Program Files (x86) \microsoft Visual Studio\2017\enterprise\common7\ide\publicassemblies

3. Execute the following code

Gacutil-i Microsoft.visualstudio.shell.interop.11.0.dll
