Create three users

[Email protected] ~]# Useradd Kids

[Email protected] ~]# Useradd Mini

[[email protected] ~]# useradd ts

[Email protected] ~]# passwd Kids

[Email protected] ~]# passwd Mini

[[email protected] ~]# passwd ts

Shared paths

[Email protected] data]# ll/data/

Drwxr-xr-x. 6 Kids kids 4096 1 months 11:26 Kids-acs

Drwxr-xr-x. Ten mini mini 4096 1 months to 11:36 mini-acs

Drwxr-xr-x. 4 TS TS 4096 1 months 5 01:07 ts-acs1

[Email protected] vsftpd]# vim vsftpd.conf

local_root=/data/ User Logon path

Chroot_local_user=yes lock users to their respective directories for their root directory

User_config_dir=/etc/vsftpd/userconfig User Configuration directory

[Email protected] vsftpd]# mkdir userconfig

[Email protected] vsftpd]# CD userconfig/

Configure the respective user to access the root directory

[Email protected] userconfig]# VIM Kids

[[email protected] userconfig]# VIM Mini

[[email protected] userconfig]# VIM TS
