First, set the forward and reverse records of the ESX host on the DNS. If you do not want to set them, modify the host file.
Enter the Administrator account of the VC host to go To the VC console.
First, create a data center and rename it to VMware.
Add hosts to the VC console to manage ESX hosts using VC.
Enter the ESX host name and root password to add the host. If the host is not set and the DNS is not set, it is easy to get stuck and fail to be resolved.
Click Yes.

The host character is added, but there is a red warning to add the second ESX host.
Next, choose configuration-security configuration file-properties-select the iSCSI software client and other features you need.
Next, set the network here. You need to perform the following operations on both hosts, but the IP addresses are different. Set the IP addresses on your own. Click network-properties-add
Select vmkernel to add the required components for vmotion to the ESX host.
Select this port for vmontion.
Enter a new IP address and set the gateway.

Click Close to scan the network again.
To add an iSCSI disk, perform the following operations on two ESX hosts. note that the iSCSI disk provider must provide CHAP authentication. Otherwise, you cannot log on here. I have tried it for a long time and must authenticate it Before connecting to it. For normal use, click Configure-storage adapter = attribute.

The iSCSI provider is configured here, and the corresponding firewall port 3260 must be enabled on the iSCSI provider. The iSCSI provider can use Microsoft's storageserver and open-source openfiler, and all tests are successful.
After the configuration is complete, re-scan the iSCSI disk on the bus

Then, go to configuration-memory and select add storage to add the iSCSI disk to ESX and format it.
Select disk next
Enter a name
