VSphere 6.0 U1 release new feature notes

As you know, there's not much mention of vsphere on VMworld2015, but Virtual san is an important topic. And the Virutual San is built into vsphere. So the way to update virtual SAN 6.1 is to upgrade the vsphere platform. So, the vsphere 6.0 U1 was released quickly, and this version of vsphere actually doesn't have much new additions beyond virtual SAN 6.1, as the following list:

·         I/O Filter -

·         exclusive affinity to additional system contexts associated with a Low-latency VM - by adding the sched.cpu.latencySensitivity.sysContexts parameter to the VMX, this parameter is used to reduce the workload latency of the VM by providing a dedicated physical core;

· esxi authentication for Active Directory - Kerberos communication between ESXi and AD only supports Aes256-cts /AES128-CTS/RC-HMAC encryption;

· support for SSLv3 - This option is disabled by default, but supports this feature;

· stretched Cluster - This is a feature of Virtual San 6.1 (which may also be called Virtual San 6.0 U1), which provides users Dual live storage;

· Feature enhancement - This component is a feature enhancement for the vsphere Web client;

· HTML5 Installer - support for installing Vcenter server via HTML5, not supporting HTML5 upgrading vcenter server, supporting command line VCE Nter server upgrade;
