Watch a movie on the Ubuntu character interface (enable framebuffer)

On the Internet, I went around randomly. Some of my friends said they could watch a movie under a character. I also wanted to try it! It's easy. Here we just record the process and Configuration:
1. Enable framebuffer
Determine whether framebuffer is opened and check whether/Dev has files such as FB. Ls. No! Check that menu. lst does not have the VGA parameter!
Most of the information on the Internet is about adding the VGA parameter after the kernel in menu. lst! After the restart, the FB file is automatically generated under/dev. Here, fb0 is generated!
This value may affect your splash image. My desktop resolution is 1280x800, and VGA is set to 866 here (for the reason why this value is used, refer to the table below ), the splash screen will not be distorted!
You can use fbset,/etc/FB. modes, or hwinfo to set VGA values.

After entering the system, enter the terminal (crtl + ALT + F1. .. 6). The font display is normal and the effect is best!

2. Now you can watch a movie under a character. Just run the following command:
Mplayer-vo fbdev-zoom-x 1024-y 800 file name
-The zoom-x 1024-y 800 parameter is optional and will start in the upper left corner and be displayed in the original size!

Appendix: I have not tested several statements about how to enable framebuffer In ubuntu!
You want to enable framebuffer in Ubuntu, so that you do not enter x directly on the Character interface.
It has good visual effects and can even watch movies. However, UBUNTU does not seem to be directly added to the kernel parameters of/boot/GRUB/menu. lst.
VGA = xxx to enable framebuffer. You need to do some additional work.

Open the/etc/initramfs-tools/modules file and add:

Fbcon

Open/etc/modprobe. d/blacklist-framebuffer and find "Blacklist
Vesafb "line, add" # "before this line to comment it out.

Open/boot/GRUB/menu. lst, find a line of the corresponding kernel, and add the VGA parameter. For example, if I set the resolution to 1024x768, the corresponding VGA value is 0x317.

Run sudo Update-initramfs.
-U update. Restart the instance. If you disable GUI logon, you can see some nice character interfaces. If not, press CTRL in the desktop environment.
Alt F1 ~ F6 to see the effect, press Ctrl Alt F7 to return to the desktop environment.

I have not modified the files except menu. lst according to the above process!
Afterwards, I also read the content of the above files, but I followed the blacklist-framebuffer content, which seems to be a blacklist! My video card is 950 integrated in this book, and the system uses the i810 driver, and this i810 is in this blacklist!
