Wget download through proxy

Wget is powerful and can be used as a proxy to download files through simple configuration. There are two methods:

1. Use the configuration file

A. Create ~ in the Home Directory ~ /. Wgetrc and add the following settings:

Http_proxy =Http: // ip_or_domainname: Port

Ftp_proxy =Http: // ip_or_domainname: Port

Use_proxy = on

B. Then you can directly use wget

# Wget [url]

 

2. Use Environment Variables

A. Set Environment Variables

# Export http_proxy =Http: // ip_or_domainname: Port

# Export ftp_proxy =Http: // ip_or_domainname: Port

B. Use wget

# Wget -- proxy on [url]
