Failure phenomenon:
The computer cannot log on to the Windows application store.
Solution:
If you are having trouble logging into the Windows store, check to make sure you have entered the correct Microsoft account and password. If the information is correct, but you still have a problem, you may need to reset the password:
Go to the Reset Password Web site.
Select the options that match the problem you are experiencing, and then follow the instructions on the screen.
Select how you want to reset the password, and then follow the instructions.
After resetting your password, it's a good idea to add as much security information as possible to make your account more secure. If you forget your password or someone else tries to steal an account, you can use this information to retrieve your account.
If you can use a Microsoft account to log on to another application or service, you can try to clear the cache for the Windows application store on your computer.
Swipe from the right edge of the screen to the middle and click "Search".
(If you use the mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, and then move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.) )
Enter the run in the search box, and then click or click Run.
Enter Wsreset.exe in the Run command, and then click or click OK.
