1. In launchpad, start the disk utility, or in the finder-application, start the disk utility.

In a new image from a folder,

Save As: Name the new image; Image format: Select image format; encryption: Select the encryption algorithm. Then, click the Save button.

Please enter a new password to protect "PPT.DMG". ....

Password: Create a verification password for the image;

Verify: Re-enter the password created above.

Tick or Cancel to remember the password in my keychain, or check this box to remember that the computer you created does not require password verification to open the image.

Click the OK button in the lower-right corner.

6. The system action creates a disk image for you.

7. After the system operation is complete, create a disk image.
