The steps to resolve the absence of an add-in are as follows:
Step one: Check the location of the file you want to load, to facilitate their own moment to add plug-ins can be quickly found, word add-in, the need to load the file suffix is. dll. Find your own endnote installation directory.
Step two: Under the installation directory, find a "Product-support" folder, double-click, the following figure:
Step three: Then double-click the "Cwyw" folder, as shown in the following figure:
Step four: Double click, as shown in the following figure:
PS: Here the "EndNote Cwyw.dll" is our word to load the file (ManagedCode.dll is not), but should be divided into 64bit and 32bit points, as I said on the map, I used the 64bit, that is, "x64" The two files under the folder are the same as the two file names here, as shown in the following illustration:
Step five: OK, the above preparation is done, and then start adding this plugin to Word. First open the "File-Options" button, as shown in the following image: (Here is the word2013 screenshot, specific according to their version to find, similar)
Step Six: Then click "Go" in the Add-ins column (note that before clicking Go, make sure the "COM add-in" is selected here).
Step seven: In the pop-up Options box, select Add, as shown in the following figure:
Step eight: Then find the file path that you found yourself in the first steps, and click "Open", as shown in the following figure:
Step nine: Then click "OK" and remember to make a "tick" in front of the options:
Step Ten: Then there's the endnote option, as shown in the following illustration:
