What exactly can Yammer bring to us?

First of all, allow me to ask my question: I don't need more communication, what I need is the focus that keeps me focused. As a person who needs to work on business and knowledge at the same time, I want to know how to solve problems and get updated information on one aspect. That's probably why I'm obsessed with yammer in just one or two weeks.

What is Yammer? You can find every detail of the business issues you care about and even set up your own enterprise Yammer group. Unlike other blog sites, it is designed as an enterprise tool. Therefore, the current stage of Yammer users is likely to be a large number from a common domain name, such as capgemini.com. Without a valid e-mail message, you cannot join the specified enterprise Yammer group. You can push your issue to each member's mailbox by Yammer, and you can search by subject, person, etc. I can also choose to follow up on topics like cloud computing, select a speaker like Ron, or set up an ad hoc group. With such a group, e-Mail has become an unnecessary form of communication.

The biggest advantage of Yammer is that although it is a web-based service and integrates features such as email, I can access it without my email account. I can arrange certain types of yam (information in Yammer) to be displayed as email and reply via email, and I can connect Yammer to complete the communication through any device that can access the Internet. I can also easily send yammer information to people who are not part of the Yammer society.

It may seem like a yammer ad, but in fact these backgrounds are crucial to my argument. We are constantly choosing online tools to improve business processes: Web 1.0 provides us with the means to get content, we quickly learn how to use search engines to find the information we need, and when we need to track some of the updates to the site, RSS comes into being; web The advent of 2.0 brings us a way to communicate with people, and we begin to learn how to use the Internet to find other people's experiences and information, and when we need to focus on the update of the person, we need to build a similar RSS-like application, that is yammer such a micro-blog.

The real challenge is that these two aspects are not completely separate. Our current working methods and tools, such as e-mail, are not at the same time responsive to information and people's ongoing concerns. That's why I've been boycotting Twitter, but I think Yammer is very helpful. It solves some of the business problems for me.

Unfortunately, this entrepreneurial Web 2.0 is difficult to accept because it is not working the way it is used to, and makes office management difficult. It is a challenging task to make these tools meet the requirements of the enterprise's structured approach to work, and benefit from its budget control and goal realization.
