ARCore has brought augmented reality to millions of Android phones, and many developers have started experimenting with their software tools development kits (SDK) and Unity, Unreal, and more. At present, Google Daydream Labs has conducted a number of related experiments to study the unique ways in which people explore the world, different forms of navigation, and new ways for people to socialize and entertain with related applications.
Next, let's look at what we can do with ARCore. AR becomes the Magic window of Google Street View
As the following illustration shows, people can watch the British Museum's Street View and enlarge the panorama of the British Museum in front of the great Russell Street in London (Great Russell Avenue).
See the future
With AR, architects can cover the actual buildings under construction and see what they look like when they are finished.
use ARCore for skill training
Daydream Labs's coffee-making experiment is now being carried to AR. Now, people can learn to make a perfect espresso with a mobile phone. Even people who have never used a coffee machine can do it.
changing the virtual position in reality
In Google Street View, no need to click on the change angle and position of the arrows, just walk in the real world two moving positions, you can browse different locations of Street View images.
Highlight AR content
In this experiment project, the Float AR object is displayed in front of the user, the lens depth and saturation will change with the user's angle of view and position, thus achieves the effect which the AR object is highlighted, directs the user's attention.
share locations with VPS
Google launched its VPS (Visual positioning Service) at the Google I/O conference this May. The VPS allows the AR experience to be no longer limited to the desktop, but allows users to share the location with their friends and "navigate" to that location with the VPS. With this function, how to play Hide-and-seek.
