What is the difference between WBS and tasks?

Work Breakdown Structure ( Work Breakdown sturcture ):A project element grouping for deliverablesThis group organizes and defines all project work scopes. Each level of descent represents a more detailed definition of project work.

 

Task (Task) : General work content, which is not included in WBS But it may be a part of further decomposition of a job, which is done by an individual responsible for the job. ItsUsed to describe the underlying work of a project.

Work Package (Work Package):WBSThe lowest level of work provides a logical basis for defining activities or specific assignment of responsibilities to individuals and organizations.A Work Package also refers to a specific work component or process that requires completion.Such as a report, a design, or all requirements of a document or part of it, a hardware or a service.

 

Is it possible to think that a task may not have a direct delivery-oriented result, but it is a step to complete the result? However, tasks are not part of WBS.The work package is located at the bottom of the WBS, but it is part of the WBS. Is there a specific result that can be completed?
