Lenovo Storage S3200/2200 stores data stored in the cache to CompactFlash when a power-off or array controller fails. After the problem is rectified, write the data to the disk. To prevent writing incomplete data to the disk, verify the image stored in CompactFlash before submitting it to the disk.
The CompactFlash card is located at the center of the controller module, as shown in the following figure:
In a single controller configuration, if the controller fails or is not started, and the cache status LEDs are on or flashing, you need to transfer CompactFlash to replace the controller to recover unrefreshed data to the disk.
In a dual-controller configuration with a normally running peer-to-peer controller, the cache of the faulty controller cannot be transmitted to the change controller, because the cache between the two controllers is identical.
