Sometimes you want your router to be able to use some new features that you didn't have, or you want the router to be more stable, with a router upgrade.
So how does the router upgrade?
This question believes that many children's shoes have not thought!
Here are two ways to upgrade, TFTP upgrade and Web upgrade, Web upgrades need to be in the networked state.
Where the TFTP user tl-r402 series routers are upgraded for example, the rest of the model routers take the form of Web page upgrades.
Note: The upgrade process does not power off, or it can cause the router to become corrupted and unusable.
"TFTP Upgrade"
1, Landing router Management page, into the "System Tools"-> "Software Upgrades":
2, shut down the computer system from the firewall and its own installation of other firewalls, and then double-click to run the upgrade package in the Tftpd32.exe program: run directly to minimize the Tftpd32.exe program, do not close (after the upgrade is completed before you can close the program);
3, Tftpd32.exe program opened, you can click "Upgrade", and then wait for the upgrade to complete
"Web Upgrade"
1, Landing router Management page, into the "System Tools"-> "Software Upgrades":
2, click "Browse", select the upgrade file:
3, click "Browse", select the upgrade file:
As shown above, wait for the router upgrade progress bar to complete the router upgrade, then we can experience more stable routing of the Internet, and some routers updated to the later version can also implement some new features.
