Hardware requirements

Technical principle

At present, there are four common principles of three-dimensional imaging, namely, chromatic method, Optical division method, time division method and holographic method. The holographic method is still in the research stage, so there is no actual product. The 3D vision technology is realized by the time division method, the advantage of time division method is that the imaging effect is better, but the cost is higher. 3D Vision Discover adopts the color Division method of imaging principle, as long as the wearing of red and blue glasses can see the effect.

Principle of Time Division method

NVIDIA's 3D vision technology is through special glasses, in the ultra-high speed state, through the LCD power after the lens into the opaque black, to separate the left and right eyes, so that two eyes see two different angles of the screen. In the entire display process, the display will rotate at a very high frequency to transfer the left and right eye images, while the 3D vision glasses also switch to the same high speed of the left and right eye of the LCD screen, so that people see different images. Of course, the premise of this function is that your monitor should also be able to support such a high refresh rate, so the higher the refresh ratio of your monitor, the better. In general, to achieve at least 120Hz above, so that the refresh rate on each eye can reach 60Hz, so that is not too dazzling.

Principle of chromatic separation method
