When I log on to the tplink [wireless extender] interface, why does the system always prompt that the logon password is incorrect?

Use tplogin.cn to log on to the extended server. After you enter the login password of the extended server in the pop-up logon box, you will not be able to log on successfully. The password is always incorrect.

Troubleshoot as follows:

 

If you are using the extender for the first timeTP-LINK_RE_XXXXWireless signal, your mobile phone or computer needs to connect to this signal to set the extended device.

Many users log on to the vro interface and enter a password to connect their mobile phones to the vro.

Of course, if your extended device has been successfully extended, disable the Wi-Fi of your mobile phone. Close to the extender, enable the Wi-Fi function, and search for and connect the extended signal. Or power off the master router first, only enable the extended device, and connect the wireless terminal to the extended device signal. Open the browser and enter the management address tplogin.cn logon interface. Enter the login password of the extended server to log on successfully.

There is no default logon password for the extended server. The logon password is the management password set when you log on to the extended server for the first time. The logon password is incorrect or has been modified and cannot be logged on to the interface.

Note:The model of the currently logged on device is displayed on the logon page, as shown in the following figure. Make sure that you log on to the extended Device Management page.

If the correct logon interface is displayed but the logon password is incorrect, reset the extensioner and reset it.

Reset method: In case of power-on, press and hold the RESET key for about 5 seconds. Wait for the indicator to flash and release it. The expansion device is RESET successfully.
